Welcome!IST is an international school for pupils aged 3 to 18, offering English Language education. Programmes are designed to meet the needs of students from a variety of backgrounds. This includes the International Primary Curriculum, Cambridge IGCSE and International Baccalaureate. Significant emphasis is given to Music and the Expressive Arts as well as the application of advanced technology. |

Students returned on Sunday night from a fantastic weekend in London where they not only had a guided tour of the Globe Theatre and watched a powerful performance of 'Hamlet', but also visited the Imperial War Museum and the Tate Modern Art Gallery. Many thanks to Ms. Moore for organising such a great trip and full marks to the students for their enthusiasm and exemplary behaviour! The

Year 9 students gave a great assembly on 'the power of the people'. Their aim was to make people think about what can be achieved by large groups of people. Sometimes disruptive, sometimes powerful! They used the London riots and the 'clean up' that followed as an example. See the presentation
