IB Primary Years Programme

​

The International School Toulouse Primary School is committed to implementing and further developing the Primary Years Programme (PYP) which is a curriculum framework designed for students aged 3 to 12 years.

It is the first phase of an International Baccalaureate (IB) education.

​

The PYP draws on research and best practice from a range of national systems with a wealth of knowledge and experience from international schools to create a relevant, engaging, challenging and significant educational framework for all children.

 

The PYP offers an education that “aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect” in accordance with the IB mission statement.

 

IST was authorised to offer the PYP in April  2018.
